Deeplite at the L-SPARK and BlackBerry IVY Connected Car Demo Day

We were honored to team up with BlackBerry QNX, the real-time operating system in over 200 million vehicles, and L-SPARK, Canada’s largest SaaS accelerator for the BlackBerry IVY Accelerator program!

BlackBerry Limited (NYSE: BB; TSX: BB) and L-SPARK, Canada’s largest software-as-a-service accelerator, selected four winning companies for the third cohort of their joint accelerator program, which aims to grow Canadian technology companies that are focused on connected vehicle technologies.

The accelerator provided Deeplite access to BlackBerry’s Intelligent Vehicle Data Platform – BlackBerry IVY, enabling us to deliver next-generation connected vehicle use cases leveraging in-vehicle data with a view to improving driver and passenger experiences. BlackBerry IVY is a scalable, cloud-connected software platform that allows automakers to provide a consistent and secure way to read vehicle sensor data, normalize it, and create actionable insights from that data both locally in the vehicle and in the cloud.

Deeplite integrated our DeepliteNeutrino optimization platform and DeepliteZoo library of pre-optimized models with the IVY Cloud enabling IVY synthetic sensor developers the ability to incorporate highly efficient deep neural networks into their applications.  Deeplite also ported our DeepliteRT, low, mixed precision inference engine to the IVY Edge for on board AI inference.

Congrats to the fellow cohort startups, Raven Connected, Sensor Cortec and Wedge Networks!

We are excited about our contributions to building the future of connected and autonomous vehicle technologies!
